Have you come up with a bullet proof tranny yet? I was reading on a earlier post about two speeds and what came to mind was a two speed motor. I was scrounging around on my motor shelf looking for a motor on my boom hoist and found one that had two windings. Only problem with yours is you need super power in low.

Steve ,I plan on building 4 2 speeds this winter after cabin fever . I have a good loading speed right now which will work for shows and meets . when I'll need the high range will be in the 1:14 scale working garden railway where I can get some good scale working area . With 10 acres I can build 1 heck of a lay out that will keep expanding forever
could even put a coal stripping in it ![]() IHSteve

IHbuilder-that looks really good! With it sitting on that trailer you can see the size of that "brute". Should be a "diggin" machine!!

like size wise? that be a big dozer lol i used number 50 on the terex and i am in the same scale as DP Joe and my pads are 2 inches wide and 5/8's then a 1/4 inch grouser bar on the top 60's would be a lil big for a small dozer wouldn't they?
