I made more parts for the cab, the roof and the door. And while I had the brass plate on the machine table, I made the upper shock bracket:)

In the picture there's also the wheel arc that I made...

Thanks Madda, that might be the way to proceed:)

I managed to make the cab side panels today, luckily the cab is basically a simple box, minus the roof:mad: so no need for 3D printing there.

I made the cab mounting posts and the cab bottom plate today.

Pretty soon I must decide how I'm going to make engine hood and all the curved cab parts, maybe 3D print...
I've seen some great 3D...

If I remember correct I have made keyways with lathe at school many years ago.
I do have a lathe, but those keys I use are only 2mm thick and I'm not sure how well a self made high speed steel tool...

I got the dropbox attached to the frame and also got the 3-speed gearbox mounted. The gearbox is made by Veroma modellbau.

Those are made with keyway broach. The set I got can you do 2 and 3mm keyways in to 6,8 and 10mm holes.
