I made the cab mounting posts and the cab bottom plate today.
Pretty soon I must decide how I'm going to make engine hood and all the curved cab parts, maybe 3D print... I've seen some great 3D printed projects here so I know it's possible, but the problem is that I have no idea how to do the 3D modelling of the parts. Do you 3D experts know if it's possible to 3D scan the 1:50 scale hood and resize that to 1:14, or is it too small to begin. Here's a rough picture of the hood so you get the idea.
