Hi there,
Im looking at a new rig to go with my single drive scania. It will be a twin drive scania set up for a road train using two home built or tamiya reefer's. Im not liking the restrictions...

well the real trucks use between 6 and 18 forward eaton type gear boxes. But we are not using the kind of weight and horse power they do. In the real stuff with a 13 speed its about 5 kmh for first...

I would hate to think what 68 ton of B Double weighs in 1:14 think the house floor would not like it. 4.8 ton of truck the scania need to move... Ill stay with what i have thanks

well lucky boys... first hate to be the one to ring the boss after that. Im wondering if both trucks chained there tyres. Also shows how good the side rails are with trucks.

take the chrome off !!!! I have a chrome edition scania and scuffed it then painted... BAD idea, Now sanding the paint and chrome off to bare plastic then prime and paint like normal

well you could run the leds on 7.2 volts as thats what im doing, and would say to try running the rotators on 7.2 volts as that shouldn't be a big deal. With the real trucks we can run 24 volt...

tamiya tanker stretch

Hi all,
does anyone have a idea how to stretch a tamiya tanker. They look great but dont look right for a road train tanker. If not im thinking about scraching the tank like building a boat hull....
