That 200 amp was good for 1/8 inch aluminum it takes a lot of heat for aluminum and what you are showing would take more than 200 amps I would say more like 300 amps to be safe because you are above...

Cooper That welder I told you about is a 200 Amp if you are going to do 1/2 inch you are going to need a bigger welder than 200 Amps. Ed

Hello Cooper may I suggest Eastwood Tig 200 welder. I have one it is 110 or 220 volt welds aluminum stainless or steel. I had a guy use it that welds stainless for a living and said for light stuff...

Hello Cooper the sealant is Devcon Permatex Part number PT 54550 or 54540 The hydraulic shops use this . I had to go direct to Permatex to get some and when I did the mice person that answered me...

Hi Cooper there is a special sealant that is used on hydraulics and I will go out in my garage tommorow and get the maker name and the product number, it works real good. Ed
