I will be trying these air cylinders on the shovel not sure how well they are made but I'm going to find out. The main boom cylinders are 1.25" ID and the rest are 1.0625" ID. Hopefully the 5/32"...

Swing bearing build using 200 - 1/4" steel balls and when completed is about 9.375 in dia.

I hear ya about how noisy the motor/gear box is , I thinks it is because of all the gear reduction in the box 256:1 might have something to do with it...lol...one other thing to be carefull with is...

I plan on using the same motors that I used in the 777 , two for the track drives and one for the swing.

A few more pics....the lawnmower helps in getting a good size comparison...a PC1800 is really big machine compared to the 777....and to think I thought of building a PC3000.....yikes that would be...

A sneak peek at the PC1800.....a few pics of the plywood profile....this thing is big!!!:D:eek:( makes the PC1250 look small )....should load the 777 truck nicely....

Finally had some time to take out the truck and have some fun...and get a little yard work started at the same time....
Used the truck for a good portion of the day and so far so good, everything...

Glad you like the vids....I'm also impressed with how much power that little motor/gear box has too!!! (almost scary :eek:) time will tell how long it will stay together, it does like to strech that...

Thanks!!! The truck is the second build for me and I did try and get a few more details in this build than I have in the dozer, I still have more details to add to the truck...exhaust, air cleaners...

Thanks Lou.....yes it is a small hoist/crane...I originally built it to lift the D11 dozer on/off the work bench, turns out I need it more now:eek: because the dozer is just under...

Almost finished putting this " glorified tonka truck " ;) back together but as usual needed to make a few mods etc that didn't get done yet... but I did a get some pics of it with the box...
