Lately I have been busy with finishing lots of details, including installing the lights and finishing the carrier cab. It is quite a challenge to find space for all the wires as you can see....

For my cranes I designed a control box from where I can control all electrical functions, both for the carrier as for the crane.
I have some variable speed control using a mechanical resistor speed...

I had enough time this weekend to put it all together. There are still quite a few details to finish, but this is a great opportunity to make a list and see what needs to be adjusted or fixed....

A month later.
After the soldering of the derrick mast was done, I cleaned it all up and started on all the hardware, like sheaves, pendants, etc. that was quite a bit of work, not difficult, but...
