I still use a 55turn with a 4:1 or 3:1. I find it to be the perfect speed for me to create a more scale speed. The stock can motor just wont give you the smoth power that a lower turn motor will.

Here are some pics of a truck I built with a 3:1 geareduction/transfercase all wheel drive with frame rails shorter than a globe.
