It would definitely make a good place to start for a custom build but it is kind of rough in places.

The guy said it wasn't perfect in the description and you can clearly see it in the pics. So I am not sure what you meant in your last post if it is about the use of wood in the model many builders here on the board use wood and you can't tell it.

All I meant is with a little work it could be a real show stopper.

Being newer to the actual building side of the hobby, It was a little different to me that there was wood used in the build. From following builds I always noticed everyone used styrene for their builds. A couple times I actually was wondering why the use of wood wasn't more popular.

whats the issue yea it's a different truck made of wood I've seen a lot of different materials used to build something . wood is 1 of the common materials . If you get to spend some time in the construction forum , you'll see some old cats built by Jerry from wood and , as travis mention , Robs grader . A lot of RC aircrafts are built from wood .

I think that truck is sweet, would be a great start for a real custom stand out truck.
