It would definitely make a good place to start for a custom build but it is kind of rough in places.

The guy said it wasn't perfect in the description and you can clearly see it in the pics. So I am not sure what you meant in your last post if it is about the use of wood in the model many builders here on the board use wood and you can't tell it.

All I meant is with a little work it could be a real show stopper.

Being newer to the actual building side of the hobby, It was a little different to me that there was wood used in the build. From following builds I always noticed everyone used styrene for their builds. A couple times I actually was wondering why the use of wood wasn't more popular.
