Depends on the adhesive.
I try my alcohol medical wipes first, and if the stuff is still resistant, and the material can take it, I resort to lighter fluid (yellow plastic bottle Ronson stuff) in the dried out alky-wipe pads. Considering this is cardboard, I'd try lifting the labels with hot air from a hair dryer, or a heat gun if the dryer isn't enough. Then go at the residue with the solvents. WhiteWolf
