From what I've read on the WEB: the Standard version has a slip clutch which slips if you put any real weight, as in dirt. in the bucket. A mod has been posted to fix this. There's a video on YouTube and the mod itself is on, I believe RC-Trucking. Search: Hobby Engine Excavator Mod.
I had one of the Premium models. It will move real dirt, but it's a loader, not a digger. The bucket would not go below the tracks, at least not very far. In other words, it can't dig a hole. Might as well get a loader. |
