I would stay away from the combo units unless you are very limited on space. Much better to have separate machines. It allows you to work on 2 different things at the same time without breaking the machine set up down to do something else.

I have a similar bender/shear from Micromark. It should handle most of your smaller projects.

I can't vouch for them all, but I will speak from experience.
Stay away from the cheaper lathe/milling machine combos in the $1,200-$1,500 range.
The ONLY thing I received from purchasing one was a $1,350 lesson to buy the right tool the first time and to stay away from discount JUNK!
