Thanx guys

Let me update you with the actual last part, the grill. Yesterday it was too dark on the balcony to go on typing.

The grill was my first project with bigger brass elements. Some parts could only be soldered with a flame. After finishing the frame we had a bit smokey smell in our living room.

First I folded the upper frame element to fit to the hood contour.

The edges are additionally fasteded with a thread rod.

After the frame was finished I started to build the grill elements. Here's a picture of the procedure started from left to the right.

In addition I started a sub project. The saddle plate handling had to be modified that way, that the mechanism can't be seen. So I tried to find a solution with a micro servo under the plate.

A short visdeo how it works

But after finishing I found out that the servo can't be hidden completely. If I create a brass plate to hide it, it would block the plate if it tilts to the front. So the road train will get the same mechanism as the Knight Hauler.
