its not his bumper its the two plates that hit the ground.
don't know why Tamiya thought it was a good idea to place the plate

You might try adding F350 spring leaves, TamiyaUSA has them in various lengths 4 to a package for about $6 pkg. depending on length ordered.

I had the same problem with my Scania - either try F350 springs as suggested by TRUCKMAKER, so you can build them up with as many leaves as you need....or swap out your front springs with a pair of rear springs from a European style 4x2 Tamiya tractor truck. These comes with an extra leaf in them, they are definitely stiffer and did the job perfectly for my Scania.
