I got a Spektrum DX8 and it seems to do everything I want with the MFU.

Futaba 4YWD is great if you're OK with only 4 channels

I upgraded to a Carson Reflex 6-stick. Limited to 6 channels, but it has been designed specifically for use with MFU. It has manual trims so set-up and operation is the same as the original Futaba 4VWD AM unit.

another option for Radio is the Planet T5

5 channel 2.4 ghz system that is good and cheap...

has analog trims too...

had planned on getting one for my Knight hauler but chickened out.... that has the 4VWD setup in that....

however have one in my Agrios... will be setting the 5th channel to work the lights :-p
