Default Re: how do i get my servo to hold neutral positionwith full force

Looking for opinions here. I have discovered something that may solve my winch brake issue. As mentioned earlier in this thread, i am using two cont-rot servos to run winch. each servo has a little pod wired in but hanging out of the servo. These pods have dials that control the direction of rotation. I have slightly adjusted each of these pods so that the servos are slightly working against each other in neautral. This puts both servos under slight load and they definetly hold the load.

Aside from extra draw on my battery, can anyone tell me if this will harm stuff. Keep in mind there is verylittle load on them.
