thanks man.

got a little more done today,
still unsure which end to power the conveyor, but Im leaning towards the back end, also its getting a little high so im guessing when it comes to mounting the tracks I will have to do a bit of hacking , go a little wider to maintain the same height..
got a couple more days off so hope fully I will get the front half mocked up and second conveyor fitted up.
I will get it running and then look at how I fit the track drives.

heres some progress pictures

cheers andy

today's activities,

spent a whole lot of time achieving not a lot.

ran out of slitter blades so no body panels made , so started to fit up track motors and a little tidy up of the welds.
have figured out how i will do the conveyors and vibrating motor for hopper. main motor for crusher is still a little fuzzy but I have a welder.
heres today's progress.

cheers andy

spent a little more time in the shed today.have the bottom conveyor all mounted up and managed to get the second conveyor almost done.
hope fully the rocks will be travelling fast enough to be thrown onto the second conveyor.
need to make a few more bearing blocks and make up a mount for the winch to raise and lower the out feed conveyor.
not far off testing ....

todays progress

cheers andy

I am loving this build Andy! And thanks for taking the time to share with us. Your moving along so fast, making me feel guilty for time spent on the couch! i need to get back building and your really helping to motivate me.

The transition to the second conveyor does look tricky. Definitely need some speed on the first to throw material. Could you elevate the end of the first conveyor a bit, lower the second and slip under so you have a straight drop?
