thanks mustang
i had a 67 mustang 289. lady pulled out in front of me and that was that. I also had a 69 Mach 1. mine had the 428 CJ. royal maroon, blacked out hood, no shaker. spoilers, slats, side pipes. was an automatic. I bought a 2008 GT converible in 08. i ordered it special. took 4 months to get. i loaded it up with everything but heated seats since i dont drive it in the winter. vista blue with black interier,5speed,18"alum wheels, spoiler, hood scoop, leather, 1000 watts stereo. in 3 years i have 7000 miles on it. i took it down to the indy show this past august. when ford came out with the the mustangs that look like the 67 and 68 i had to get one. didnt like them when they went with 4cyl. in the 70's do you still have the 69? i wish i kept mine. steve |

I wish I still had it! I developed arthritis in my left hip to the point that pushing in the clutch was very painful. Being all original, I couldn't bring myself to convert it to an auto so it was time to part with it.
![]() At least I can still play with my Harley! I'd love to pick up one of the new Mustangs but the board of finance (Wife) says no. |
