Haha it's coming along picked some more buffing compound as I was starting to run out! Going to finish it with some black magic rouge to get that mirror finish!

How long did it take to mill that counterweight? Very repetitive. Turned out nice.

I don't have the tools for the job so I paid a machinist to have the work done. Took roughly 2 weeks for the counter weight and another for the bucket teeth.

First and longest step of polishing the tub is complete...no joke I easily have 50 hours into polishing this trailer but atleast I'm halfway there! Used tripoli brown compound to help remove imperfections with it's cutting action. Second step I'm going to be using black magic rouge compound to help achieve get that mirror finish!

Thanks Mike! Not an easy job by any means but I think it'll be worth it in the long run.

Beautiful, I hear you on the job of polishing, never easy, and when you think you have everything polished, you look closer and there is a spot you missed so back to the grind stone...

Inside, bottom...every nook and cranny! Hoping the clear powder coat will help keep it looking good!

Woohoo time to assemble this bad boy and get it clear coated! I won't be getting the nose with the tarp mechanism inside powder coated as I don't believe it will withstand the baking process in the oven. It will be polished however to match the rest of the trailer!
