It almost looks like a compression type fitting for a sinks grease trap.

I don't shop at HD too much, pretty sure not from there, likely would be Menards or Mcmaster, but can't see it on their shelves/in my order history.

I've typed the barcode #s and the molded-in #s off it in several search engines and zero luck. I once netsearched a 1959 Chrysler EFI intake manifold and had better luck finding info than I did with this PVC thing!

I do think it looks like a flanged/adapter-type component. I'll try looking near garbage disposals next time I hit the store.
