I'll be anxiously awaitng a report of how much weight this can carry WITHOUT breaking, OR dragging the belly on the ground! I'd LOVE to make one of these for carrying the RC4WD 4200XL excavator around, &/or the Bruder D10 conversion

i doubt it would handle an all metal excavator, remember the backbone is the aluminum floor of the flatbed. i might try some i beams, but this is for light weights only i think

You might be surprised to find out that with the right supports and bracing in the right places will allow a good payload. Remember alot of our 1:1 equipment trailers are built smart and made of light materials with lots of flex. I really like what you've got going there. you should consider a flip over neck extension and jeep for one of these.
