I made some good progress on the suspension. The front axle is ready, but the rears need more work. The springs are made from worn out hack saw blades. They are very flexible and only the teeth are hardened, so it is easy to cut them.

Really cool looking truck. Great progress so far. Curious it looks like the hubs are plastic? Is that for ease of machining or to save weight? Where do you find details and dimensions for a truck like this? Lastly will you use servo/actuator or hydraulic for dump box? Looking forward to your progress. Best regards, Bob |

I used plastic for the wheels, both because it is easy to machine and it is light. I don't have a lot of info on the truck, but there are enough pictures on the internet. I plan on using hydraulics the dump function. I will make the cylinders myself. That will be a nice challenge! Kerst |
