Default Re: Mercedes Benz 560SL convertible

Copyright 1988 HIP YICK int'l. Made in thailand. 2100 license plate. Canada Dry logo on hood. Beyond that, no ideas about its history!

Anyway, while waiting on some parts, i noticed i had a couple old wimpy 40mm drivers from a dead BT speaker to play with for mockup. Wimpy drivers in the car, Long-travel drivers outside hooked to 3w amp & battery. Magnet size and suspension is definately different between sets!
Mounting plan for the good ones looks something like this. Wire hookup off that amp is simple 6 wires, should be able to power it off BEC through spare RX port.

40mm speaker x 1/14 scale = 560mm. ÷ 25 = 22.4 inch subs.
- I'm in your Jeep Grand Cherokee or Land Cruiser
- When you're rolling through the hood you want to use a
- Track like this all up in your eardrum
- So check the E.Q. and let them speakers hum

A "6-pack" nimh 1500mAh pack fits in the trunk. Servo and RX fit up by dash. Rx can hang out under package tray. Might have room for another small servo for something else pretty cool.
