Hello, My name is Ian , and as you can guess by the username, Matadors and AEC lorries are my main interest. I have made models for years and dabbled in model boats for about nine years but felt like trying something different.

I have no experience in RC Trucking but have been drawn in by seeing clubs and societies demonstrating at shows over the years and that worked its way into my mind.

I would like to try and build at least a Matador Logger and then if that doesn't catch fire maybe try a classic 'Eight Legger'. I am hoping to make period tyres made but I am going to see what you guys do first and learn some techniques from your projects.

Welcome to the forum, Looking forward to older classic truck builds... Casting your own period tires.... Very doable, maybe a 3d printed mold.... sounds interesting
