Your toy was pretty clean and "may" of had some collector value but I've seen guys on the Tonka,Nylint board cut toys in the same or better condition into customs...
I don't know why but a single axle on the older trucks looks "right" to me... tandems work too but on the 50s style I think visually a single axle works...
Remember that WPL 47 international (or whatever it is) I did.... it's going to become a 55 Ford single axle ...
Now what are you going to do for the upper deck...same thing???
