It had some collector value, but going off the color and hubcaps it was originally with a Turbine truck. The original sets of plastic cars usually go for more $$ than a car-hauler trailer anyway. I don't think they'll mind.
Chassis structure is getting widened with some 1/8" plates. (I still like the looks ya get from the guys driving too fast and careless "Oh man, i'm sorry i almost hit yours." Meh, my truck is full steel... you'd go crunch, i might get a dent?) Upper deck and ramp will probably get some 16g for adding width. If i raise the roof it'll probably get some 1/8" in the pillars. If i pop the top, the Ramp-lengthen parts won't be much fun to make wheel guide profiles. I figure a Car-carrier should be made to fit an AMC Pacer. It was "Americas first WIDE small car." https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DFU-4rhHGGE I like the blue, i'll probably try for similar color if i can't incorporate a nice looking 2-tone scheme. Longer term, a pair of Actuonix could handle tilt and little servo for ramp. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...autos.1034153/ https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...rriers.346862/ https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...eryear.837649/ Yeah, Single-rear axle big trucks was a lot more common then, and vehicle gross weights weren't cranked way up yet https://www.xr793.com/wp-content/upl...-Full-Line.pdf

What do ya mean "Cars are neither Trucks or Construction"? It's still scale, and i play fairly well with others, most of the time... Last edited by frizzen; 04-16-2022 at 09:09 PM. |
