On my selfmade excavator i‘ve used self greasing materials like brass or bronce for bolts etc.
I think, if you grease them, you will get a big mess with the mix of sand and grease.

Ok
On prototypes I do see a lot of dirt on the grease that squeezes out but since they are fed grease from within (from the zerk) I guess it is no problem. |

Maybe try to start with something like Teflon dry-lube for the dirty areas, or Light machine oil for the better protected areas?

A new machine arrived today
![]() ![]() Top boom bushings just about dry ![]() squeeze out is a good thing...as long as it is cleaned up ![]() Machine is a 1/12 DIM PC360 and although it is a lot bigger than the 360L it weighs about the same.
