What scale is he building ? Do you have any idea how many of those truck were in use ?

The truck will be 1/12 scale and I think there were a few different versions of the truck but not many were produced. Steamer knows a fellow in Victoria who worked building them and has info on them.

More progress: front axles are mounted and the rims are roughed in. Now the rear ends are starting to take shape.
The first pic is of my Dad's 1917 Southbend lathe he is useing to make all the parts with.
