I also managed to make the circle shoes
There is also a short video clip of making them.

Wow it's really starting to take shape
What grade of aluminium are you using? The endmill is leaving an awfully nice finish without any coolant or cutting oil.

I´m using AlCuMgPb (3.1645) grade aluminium.
