Re: Transmissions & Transfer Boxes for 6x6
Ha, the RC4WD 3 speed when first released, the front output spun opposite the rear output. Simple fix on their part with an idler gear, but come on, really?
This looks pretty slick though, 2 speeds and selectable 2WD/4WD. http://rc4wdstore.com/2/product_info...51140c0bf709c3 |

Re: Transmissions & Transfer Boxes for 6x6
my first 6 WD I did with a E-maxx tranny ( the Globeliner shown in this post below ) the German Krupp ( same post ) has the stock Tamiya 3 speed with a transfer case ( which is unfortunately not available anymore ) Willy

Re: Transmissions & Transfer Boxes for 6x6
The most recent 6WD’s I do with the stock Tamiya 3 speed and add the transfer-case from the F-350 via a new rear-tranny plate I machine myself . This particular 6WD was build with just stock Tamiya semi-truck parts with the exception of that adapter-plate for the transfer-case and the drive-shaft between the rear axles Willy
