Ah, cool. Yup, that should be much better than what I thought:
I have never seen one of these units with such a thin flange, only units with massive cast iron housing or tiny bearings where the outer ring has a flange/lip on it. Pretty neat, will have to remember these |

Those Flanged bearings will take up too much room. I forget what Tom used on his Marion shovel.

More up date.
Received my (2) 1000 RPM motors from China today. Also had to make my hubs, as no one had any for 4mm shaft,(that I could find). So will see how they work as soon as I find some way to mount then to Truck. Any input welcome. Did see some on line, look like a block with hole for motor. TEXKEN (ken) |
