I'm in the process of building a Scania R620, While installing the MFU, I noticed in the instructions (yes, I do read instructions sometimes
![]() that I can only use the stock 540 motor, I have a Carson motor on the way, apparently these motors are "slower" than the 540, http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWNX:IT My question: Do I have to use the 540, or will the Carson be ok to use?? Cheers Paul

Hi Paul,
Tamiya just want you to use their motors! You can use almost any type of motor with them, I say almost as if you start to use high performance motors the MFU may not like the high power draw. I have used the standard 540, the Carson truck puller and Sports tuned motors (currently in my truck) on the MFU with total success. Hope this helps
