Re: daycab overhaul
Hey truckers I really like the finished product, steves wheels will really finish it off. I think you really nailed the working beauty look, I think there is some little things to add to the consistence of the truck, I just did to mine and it really add to the realisim. You should black out the wipers, and do a little Chrome trim around the windshield and doors, I used a Chrome paint marker. It looks more like brushed aluminum finish instead of chrome. If you'd like I can show you a pic of mine, just a suggestion. Overall the truck looks good.

Re: daycab overhaul
Hey trucker, sorry it took so long and sorry about the crappy pics....heres the "windshield molding". I used a sharpie brand Sharp silver paint marker I bought at my local arts and crafts store, A.C. Moore.

Re: daycab overhaul
Looks good, just curious why you have the remains of the old suspension side plate? That's got to go, doesn't do your painted frame and custom parts any justice. Love all the polished aluminum in your build.

Re: daycab overhaul
It will look great after you repaint but what a kick in the paints in the mean time.

Re: daycab overhaul
Wow, that's a huge transformation! I can't believe the difference in changes. I remember when you used to go mud bogging with this truck, and now it looks more like a show truck. Hopefully you keep it on the high and dry roads now. Russ's suspension looks awesome on there. Just repaint the frame rails and you'll be good to go!

kind of looks like you need some shorter springs or dose it level out when you have the trailer on?
