I like the trailer as it is. My trailer had long flanges and after a little while I forgot all about them and nobody said boo. But as you stated the build is yours - so it's your choice.

And dirt pushers was a heavy haul - fun though. Kept her in first the whole time!

OK, so you've inspired me to continue down the path and see what results I can achieve. Maybe I'll even fool around with it a little today. Thanks for the compliments and encouragement.

So I guess I'm in the mood to "play with my toys" as the wife says. The last couple of days I made the ramps for the front and decked it. I also spent some time bending some aluminum to mimic the incline typically at the rear of the deck. I think it's a bit out of whack but I need to stare at it a while. Here's some pics of the progress...

Hears the front of the deck...

The trailer ready to move...

Then detached...


The gooseneck is super rough...I hate looking at tose big bolt heads but theres not much else I can do. Let me know what you think.
