I like the trailer as it is. My trailer had long flanges and after a little while I forgot all about them and nobody said boo. But as you stated the build is yours - so it's your choice.
And dirt pushers was a heavy haul - fun though. Kept her in first the whole time! |

OK, so you've inspired me to continue down the path and see what results I can achieve. Maybe I'll even fool around with it a little today. Thanks for the compliments and encouragement.

So I guess I'm in the mood to "play with my toys" as the wife says. The last couple of days I made the ramps for the front and decked it. I also spent some time bending some aluminum to mimic the incline typically at the rear of the deck. I think it's a bit out of whack but I need to stare at it a while. Here's some pics of the progress...
Hears the front of the deck... ![]() And the rear... ![]() The trailer ready to move... ![]() And lowered... ![]() Then detached... ![]() The gooseneck is super rough...I hate looking at tose big bolt heads but theres not much else I can do. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Bill Last edited by wrhby85; 09-22-2011 at 10:10 PM. Reason: fixed pics |
