I hear ya, I had the same problem. So I bought the elite, never a problem, till it gave out...Too many hours on it

When the new 360 with the250 GB HD came out, I got one. When I was transferring memory from one HD to the other everything went fine until the last bit of info. Sent it in, got it back in two weeks, hooked it up. Same problem, the controler didn't sync. Bought another one, all that was wrong, the cable was bad. So if my 360 quits, I have a spare
