Wow, nice work! Do you use a torch, soldering iron or resistance soldering iron? How do you decide whether to use brass or copper? Or, put another way, why use copper at all - is it better for shaping for curves?

I use both a torch and a stainglass soldering iron with silversolder and some type of brazing solder not sure the brand but I get it at tractor supply.

I use the copper in areas where where I have compound curves.
