That would be Over The Top. We are forgetting a few more fellas come on....I have everyone of those movies mentioned in this post in dvd and some on blu ray. Now for the movies you gentlemen have forgotten....

Big Trouble In Little China ( You know what Ole Jack Burton always says....)
Think Big (with those dumb barbarian twin brothers who drive a Peterbilt threw the film)
Joy Ride 1 & 2(with Paul Walker running from "Rusty Nail")
Breakdown (with Kurt Russell who's wife is kiddnapped by trucker)

Then movies with some kool truck apperences

Live free or die hard (freightliner chase scene)
Transformers 1 2 3( Peterbilt Optimus Prime)
Beverly Hills Cop 2 (axels cement mixer Mack)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (old school needle nose Pete at end)
Waterworld (had a needle nose Pete turned into a boat)
Armed And Dangerous (the guy with the cabover Ford hauling rocket fuel)
The fast and furious (the end high jacking scene with the Peterbilt)
The Road Warrior (the black and red Mack)
Stop or my mom will shoot(sly stallone has a chase scene in an ol pete)

That is just what I can remember. If you guys like IMDB.COM (Internet movie database) and you ever have a question about some vehicle in a move you'll love IMCDB.ORG (Internet movie car database). It will tell you every vehicle in almost every movie, even if it just drove by. Usually the have a still screen shot of the vehicle which helps tons with our hobby in recreation of trucks from movies or tv. This thread rules by the way, i say we sticky all trucker movies for inspiration for builders who haven't seen these awesome movies and trucks.

After that entire list you forgot to mention:
Beverly Hills Cop the original - the opening scene is where Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is in the middle of a bust on the back of a trailer with cigarettes and the suspect runs up and uses the truck to evade capture by the police by driving the truck to escape and Axel is flung around on the back of the trailer like a rag-doll.

best thread ever!

maybe i can get some help here then. i remember seeing a movie when i was younger ONE time. it was kind of a knock off of smokey and the bandit. had a red kw T600 pulling a van or reefer, and a mid to late 80s black pontiac trans am or firebird, im pretty sure jason priestly drove the car. there was a scene where they drove the truck on a wooden barge with a tiller motor (gotta love hollywood lol) and drove er....floated it across a lake or something. the water was up to the center of the hub cap on the steers. i can also remember the guy in the car calling running from the cops "highway ballet"

It was THE SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT tv series that was very short lived. He drove a black dodge stealth twin turbo or a Mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 (same car). The snowman was supposed to be the son of Jerry Read, and that snow man drove a red t600 kw. And yes the bandit did look like Jason Priestly.

It may have been mentioned already, but I don't remember the name. It was a short lived TV show with a total custom truck with a bubble style cockpit. If my aircraft experiance is correct, it was the cockpit of a Britsh Gazelle helicopter. Anyone have any info one this one?
