Have you considered using plastic to form the channel's?
Glue the pieces up in a wood jig.

no actually i never thought of that...wouldn't the plastic melt from the heat to bend it or it would warp out of shape if i used c-channel styrene ...it would collapse in the bend thats what i am afraid of

If you have dimensions of what you want I can see about cutting you some acrylic tracks on my laser, what material are you using for the door?

I was thinking more of making the channel, from 3 separate pieces of plastic
Styrene, and gluing together. It doesn't have to be a tight fit. Next time you are following a semi trailer, look and see how much the older door's flop around! Trying to do a better job explaining!
