Reason being is the end loaded and dumped this from the back, so 1 the needed the weight up front.
2 once they were load they needed to distributed the weight as best as they could.
It's a great truck but for ac curacies sake you need a second drive axle just under the pillar and rear head ache board

there are rig up beds and winches bed which come in texas ,wyoming, and a few more types of winch beds and there are gin pole beds , and winch and fifth wheel combinations, and all of these come in single and duel front axles and with powered and unpowered front axles with then there are single and duel
and triple rear axles and tag axles

lol and i do believe that there are a bunch more that i have never seen.
Most of the bed company are started because a hand gets tired of working with pieces of trash truck and beds that they are working with makes a new kind that works better and faster ,easier that the company buys and then orders two or three more and a new bed company is started
