Hello from Colorado (south of Denver)
Hi All,
I only receintly discovered that RC could be done with Semis and Construction equipment. I must say this site is the most informitive I have seen so far for this. A Little background - been doing RC (started with cars) sense 1984 - a lot has changed... (done Cars, trucks, copters, planes, Quad copters and more I even have an RC snowmobile)... oh yes-- I have a small industral laser as well - how I got to the name RCLaser. I hope to get some good advise (I have seen a lot of good advise so far) in getting started.... (like where should I start- Tamiya? Globe liners seems like a good start...) Anyone out there live in Colorado... I would love to see these in action up close. Warmest Regards, RCLaser |

Thanks for the Welcomes'!
The laser is a 30Watt.. Yes -it can do pictures on wood, anadized aluminum, leather, acrylic, cardboard and other materials. It can also cut thin materials. (it does not cut any metals though ) |

Re: Hello from Colorado (south of Denver)
Well Dan, I gave it a try... could do with a little tuning but the laser does cut styrene... (Styrene is pretty dense... makes it harder to cut but it works)
Now all I have to do is figure out what I want to cut and build from Styrene..!! Laser cutting Styrene Sample Pic |
