since posting this there was not a sub forum set up yet . It is a emergency vehicle .

now this baby is next in line cab is getting it's finishing touches than in the paint shop same with the frame . now here is the fete I hope to accomplish build this fully functional

Woah that's gonna be a beast. Looks like you are right on track. I look forward to seeing this one go together, especially since you plan on getting it to function. So are you gonna do gear motors and screws or hydraulics?

thanks , it'll be small screw drives , a rack & pinion , and liniar actuators and gear motors

Started on the rotator base . Not exact to the pic but this should work . The boom base will attach to the top of the gear .

OK guys this is no ordinary wrecker build trying to keep true to scale as possible . got wrecker frame made , under lift started , stabilizers started and turntable being assembled while working on wheels .





I think it's going to be best to use hydros on this with some screw drives

thank you I put it on hold for a tinny itty bit , working on a batch of wheels + the pan to get it operating + hydros . I'll be making a pump for my pan ,if that goes well I have to make 1 for this and 2 other projects

Small update . got my boom segments made up working on screw drives as of now . I can make a pump and cylinders no prob but the valves I'm not ready to mess with yet and to buy them will blow the reserve beside I got a bunch already made sitting in the scrap . Full extension it is 16" beyond the back , a total of 32" long
