2.4 will work with the MFU, u just have to make sure that ur settings are all centered when setting it up and go thru ur setup-motions slowly. I am using both the rds8000 and the 10g from airtronics will running dual-rates @ 100%, all functions works with just the sticks and no trim movement necessary.
I have talked a couple of guys thru on the futaba, but no personal experience with them.
