A half section (320ac) was the size of the field I was in. This yr's extremely dry Fall weather and prime cutting conditions, with a trk driver helping me & dumping on the go through most of the day, we were averaging 250 to 280ac in Spring wheat, binning 11,000bu+ in a 14 hr period. 200ac+ in brown mustard, about 6000bu per day.. lower yield, bulky 'er crop but more double the value.
