candy purple KW W900A project

well just to get back on the radar, i built my truck and got her running good except for the fact that I broke the little thing that looks like a trailer hitch on my shift servo, but other than that shes good as far as running goes. My trailer is all built which its the box trailer that Tamiya sells(my cat likes riding around on it). I would post pics but theres no camera around that is available but I will document the customizing and fabricating as its my first real hack job. Just to give you a idea of what Im hoping to go for is a little somthing like

Then make it the nice deep candy purple with the lighter Seminole

As far as parts go im gonna stretch the frame first, I have a 6" stretch kit from PMD(wonder if i should get the frame rails instead) among a set of "Bull pipes" and a Texas bumper with the L.E.Ds, I have 2 sets of the under bunk lights which I might tie in, as I also have a extra set of cab lights from them.

Sounds like you are off to a great planned start...not to mention purple is my favorite colour also....and that i am a huge fan of kw trucks

Well here is my first picture of my little pride and joy, We have a long journey ahead of us. Sorry for the bad quality picture because of those i pods, but I fabbed up some temporary stack mounts from the steps off the old fuel tanks and put my side lights on and the PMD fuel tanks and bumper. I'm still trying to score some polystyrene so i can start shaping this truck and I'm currently waiting to cut the frame for a temporary 6" stretch before I can get my frame rails. This is all for now, might post some more pics sooner or later. Gotta say this little truck has made the better part of last year and the beginning of this year alot more bearable and I,m pretty happy I,m able to be a part of this awesome community.

Now as for the paint..

I,m Still gonna paint it excaly like this one(as much as everyone just loves purple haha) but as a A-Model like my dream truck posted above, Spencer's :P

That's sharp! See, purple is a good color for truck.
