Ah...
Like what we guys call a 'roller' in R/C. Then again, a roller usually has the driveline, and whether it has a motor or not depends on the seller. Or have I been out of things too long? Think this explains exactly what a glider is: http://www.fitzgeraldgliderkits.com/gliderkit.htm And I gotta agree, she looks nice. But I disagree on more chrome, I'd say she needs some striping/accent color... to offset the burgundy color. Nothing gaudy, just to complement it. Know what I mean? Yeah I was more thinking a nice set of hogebuilt quarter fenders and some tasteful stacks. Perhaps not a popular opinion, but hey we all get one

Agree on the stacks... I think all extra-cabs look better with at least basic dual-stacks (like on a King Hauler)
As for the fenders, I'd say it depends on what he's gonna put on the back as to how he does the fenders. A cargo bed needs a certain type, dumpers and tanks need another, and 5th wheels another still. Yea, certain kinds of fenders can be all-purpose, but we're talking about staying with the 'mood/feel' of the truck, right? Oh, and radio/antenna whips off the mirrors. And ~mebbe~ a bull-bar. |

Hey, if ya got those, you HAVE to have some musflaps... even some plain-jane basic ones. That reminds me, anyone making those metal 'braces' that go on mudflaps to keep 'em from overflappin' (or whatever ya call it) More over, has Anyone done it, even scratched? Seems fairly easy, and realistic too. WhiteWolf - again, not meaning to thread-jack |
