I have the same problem here in England it`s sunny and dry in winter and then rains all spring and half of summer in 2012 it ruined the summer because it was always raining.
I feel sorry for you that it happend when it was your birth day.

A snowbrella?..... . I like it! Lol . The snowflakes were so huge the other day it was like a rain drop worth of water when it hit ya. I coulda used a snowbrella then for sure
