Welcome to the forum.i use both spektrum and futaba radios for my fleet they are both great radios in my opinion.i use servos from both of those brands and find they do the job. I know some use hi-tec servos and others.i would say if you are not going to use your vehicles for heavy service then most servos will do the trick but if you are getting into off-road stuff then i am sure someone will chime in what is best to use
