Richard, those pumps are ok if,your going to use on a dump or something that doesn't require the pump to run over a minute.I purchase a couple of them,& cooked one in a matter of minutes. If you read the spec sheet that comes with the pump.It tells you to only run in short spurts. One of them I modded to use a different motor, now it's perfect. Your still way ahead useing just the pump & changing the motor,vs $300 0r more.
It's all in what you want it to do.
I sure hope UMS does a better job gittin them to you, than they did w/me!

FGD - thanks for the info. I suspected that the motor might need to be replaced. I was most interested in the gear pump itself. I always like to order more than I need and at that price, you can't go wrong. I ordered on Oct 11th and supposedly (according to an email this week) the order will be shipped this week.

Edit: On its way by FedEx, delivery in 4 days.

FGD, I am about to purchase a couple of them, what motor did you upgrade them too? Just talked to them and they are in stock.

Thanks
