Great Job! Watching it come together using the painted parts really puts a smile on your face ill bet. The actuator speed and power is perfect. One of the coolest dumps here. Congats.

Thanks for those last pictures. That helps me a lot. I cannot see too well but I can read a ruler. NICE BIG TRUCK!!! I like your dozer also. Seems very strong and pushes a full blade with ease. Another great build! I am already looking forward to your shovel build (my main interest). I can already see the shovel loading that truck. What a video that will make!!!!

Finally had some time to take out the truck and have some fun...and get a little yard work started at the same time....
Used the truck for a good portion of the day and so far so good, everything seems to be working well....it could be a bit faster though, the long runs take a long time....the slow steering response is a challenge at times, but for the most part it does work well for this heavy model. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUHfY...cnElm7fYjN3bEA |

Nice video!! To me the truck operation is very realistic which is what I really like. I think a lot of people operate their models too fast and that makes it look like a toy. This looks like the real deal to me. Nice job. I'm ready for that front shovel.

Thanks!!! Trying to make something this small look like it's really big is hard to do in the vids....the tall grass and the rough ground tends to give it away...LOL...
The face shovel is in the works.....I will be ordering the hyd. cylinders and such this week....but it is far from finished,in fact it is hardly started yet. I have a number of drawings done but not many parts cut out....still designing it. Uploaded another landscaping video today..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRdrp...cnElm7fYjN3bEA |

Ya, very nice! A little weathering and dust on that thing, build a bit of a road to look like a quarry and you will be very close to the real thing in your videos.
Thanks for sharing, looks like a lot of fun! Jim |

What will you be using for drive motors on the shovel? I ask this because i once started an excavator abput that size and i still have to wheel chair motors and gear boxes. the type of chair that has two main tires that are controlled much like an excavator. if someone was interested i will trade them for some 1/14 scale trailers yrucks or just boxes of unused extras!!!!
